IINIT-1 Unit Overview The first part of this unit presents the commencement address delivered by Steve Jobs on 12 June 2005. Students will get the gist of his speech and learn from it through listening, viewing and reading. The second part of the unit mainly focuses on helping students adjust to college life and on providing them with suggestions of how to plan their four years at college A variety of activities will inspire them to discuss their feelings about college life and help them reflect on their choices and interests, using the words and expressions in this unit.
