Grammar Comparison (2) Different types of adverbials may be used with comparison.They are placed before words of comparison in the comparative and superlative degrees and before the adverb as in the positive degree.E.g --Jane is five vears older than Helen. --Xiao Liu is by far the fastest runner in our school. --He is not halfas intelligent as his brother.
